I am not human.

why am i always so unlucky?

this is the 10th time of the year i've been so unlucky and unhappy.

can you guys believe it? starting from gastroenteritis, i had to eat charcoal med and i vomited so many many times, and serious diarrhea to a point that i almost died from dehydration.

then it stopped. dizziness and low blood pressure came. i lost a total of 5 kg in this period.

then one week ltr, i had to go for a day surgery to get my impacted tooth out. after that, the wound became very painful and yet i have to endure it-- AWAKE in the op room.

after the op i had to take a course of antibiotics. the antibiotics had serious side effects, my acne is leaving scars on my skin, and i suffered from yeast infections.

then a period ago, i was scraping my tongue and the tongue scrapper flew to my eye, and cut my eye. now i have to live on eye drops and couldn't wear my contact lenses.my eyeball is still painful.

and can u believe it? i shall tell you something tt happened last mth at ndc.

i went back to place the metal ring ard my teeth, and he told me, if u feel pain or watever, just tell me.

so i rly did feel pain, and i told him i feel a bit painful. you know what he said?

"huh? this is painful? this is the least painful in the whole of braces treatment. i tot ur quite brave one, u went for op awake leh."

he was the one who told me to tell him if i feel uncomfortable, and now that i told him, he scolded me. wow and he said "NO NEED GO A AND E LA."

then i was curious and asked him about my wisdom tooth and thickness of the braces. you know wat he said, huh dun need to pluck out, u have to believe me, I AM UR DOCTOR.

the glue he put into my mouth had a sour taste, and so i asked him wats tt. he said: "wun die from eating it one. then he gave me wax and he added "WUN DIE ONE LA."
wow.

no matter where i go what i do, there would be people hating and scolding me. i only asked him bcos im curious. then he scold me.

he is one off my doctors whom i tink is very very gentle, very good, very patient, and very good husband material. (doesnt mean i want him to be mine) he is so so so gd that i always look 4ward to gg to dentist. now i dun.

and in terms of studies, i still couldnt find any frens as crazy as sandy, and i couldnt make it into ntu.

i might as well die.

i love biology MORE THAN MY LIFE. even in my hardest time in RP, i never even had the thought of giving up my interest, now, i even feel like stopping sch.

i feel like giving up my own life. i am still gathering courage to kill myself.

that is the health part. now the relationship part.

why is it every time i like someone, the person doesn't like me back?

hi guys.

I'm still suffering from the aftermath of my surgery.

so bored at home, no dates and no nth, so just sleep lor.

my teeth's bone like still weird weird one, still biting from one side and then still got one big hole on the other extraction site.

starting sch soon, bt i doubt it would be fun. Rested for 8 mths, now becoming lazy.

oh ya, my stitches were taken out last week. I have to tell u something that i was so embarassed abt.

this was wat happened last week.

My hp alarm rang, and i woke up early in the morning, anticipating to go to NDC again -.-

That day was officially known as taking out stitches day, claimed by my mum.

we took a bus again, from my hse right to outram park's interchange.

Then i was making up on the bus, checking whether my makeup is smudged and put on my pinkest lipsticky.

Then the day before tt, i charged my camera to the fullest and took it with my on the bus and hugged it tightly.

I was testing my cam's fxn and did multiple snapshots on the bus. (testing first ma!)

And finally we reached NDC, and then we registered.

Weird leh, the number should be "X" instead of "Y". (sorry guys, i cnt tell u my dentist's rm number if not ppl would go bash him up cos im so smitten by him).

I felt weird. Guys, u know the feeling of having a stone big as ocean on ur chest, and then u have to put it down and it sinks all the way to the gates of hell?

The room number was not what i wanted, it was another surgeon. (he asked me abt med hx, he asked me how to spell scoliosis! Eh excuse me, u doctor or i doctor huh? or shld u be consulting me instead? idiot fool, charged me so exp for taking out stitches, and it was painful when he forgot and poked my gums with his sharp tweezers. i suddenly feel very exp bcos everytime i go checkup with my another doc, he gave me free checkup"S" hor, so suddenly i feel the pinch in my heart, AND OF COURSE MY WALLET.)

I sighed loudly in front of him. And he kept persuading me to sit down, so i sat lor. sian.

Though my body was at "Y", my heart flew to Dr yg's room. Then my mum kept getting up from her seat, and tried to call Dr yg, cos i wanted to take pic with him.

then one nurse inside the room keep looking at us, cos me and my mum like crazy bitches kept looking outside. haha, looking at Dr yg la!

finally stitches were taken out, i ran outta the room to find him! (eh guys, i was wondering y removing stitches were not done by my operating surgeon.)

so we went to ask him, heng ah, he was quite free! then when he saw us he was like, hey!!!!!!!!!
like very happy. { in reggie's heart: "haha, i oso very happy when i see you, my heart just glowed :) }

Bt things tt r nt good abt him, is tt he has stml and he's short and old. -.- bt i gotta admit, his face is really

his lips were rly red, and at first i tot he applied lipstick! Then he got rabbit teeth in front, and rly makes u feel like u wanna pinch his cheeks when he smiles. a plushy feeling that is.

the first time i met him, it seems like there is some kind of love arrow that stabbed right into my mum and my heart! damn handsome sia. cos the first time i met him, he was facing the other side typing comp, when he turned ard, i almost fainted.

back to the embarrassing moments... And then he asked me back, how come my comp didnt have ur name appeared when u registered? how come ah? i shld be the one taking out stitches for you leh. so cute right? kept acting cute in front of me... 37 yrs old still can act cute and be cute hahahahaha.

and then my mum said something that made me blush all the way home.

she became a smart aleck for one second and went straight to tell Dr yg: " hey can u take a pic with my daughter? she thinks ur cute!"

OMG, why the hell did my mum do that for? urgh.. he was typing on his comp and suddenly went hohohohohoho! he laughed so loud!

i always get free checkups! now, by two diff docs!

bt anw, he didnt agree to take a pic with me cos he has to rush for another surgery. bt he put his hands on my shoulders and told me he promise to take one with me when he sees me ard, or when he is free. hahaha he promised me leh hehehehehehehe so busy still can take time off to check teeth for me. and tt time if u guys rmb, he took time off his busy schedule and operated for me.

haix too bad, he is old enuf to be my father.

I don't love him or like him to be my valentine. i like him in a way that erm... as in i admire him for his experience, and fangirling over his cute face and also thankful for his gentleness and patience while doing surgery for me.

Hey guys! I finally can put on my braces!

Let me tell you my experience at NDC!

I can tell you guys, if you need dental treatments, NDC is the place to go, despite the wrong teeth that they extracted out.

My surgery was in the afternoon at 2pm, then I took a bus from my house right to NDC. I panicked all the way for the whole trip, I wondered what would happen during my surgery.

He told me i would hear very loud drilling noises, that didn't scare me, what scared me was the pain that i will feel.

My body is so weak to a ptn where it is not suitable for general anesthesia, and so i opted for local anesthesia. a few days before they called me, they say dr yong was on course and couldnt operate for me! i scolded the nurse and demanded i want him! the nurse laughed and said she would ask the doc for me.

finally she gave me a date for LA, by the same doc.

And so, i went up to 3rd floor, and then when i was signing the medisave form, my doc came in thru the door! hahaha i didnt see him, my mum was excited and kept asking me to see him!

after that we went to a room and then the doc came out, and asked me and i told him i went to a and e a few days ago. he like.... pitied me and was damn gentle to me!

Then a nurse pulled me as i walked reluctantly in, the nurse teased me and told everybody that i was like her daughter becos she was literally pulling me into the operating theater!

the person told me the doc is very gentle and pro. :)

Then she brought me in to the room gt lots of needles and drill and scalpel and i am not scared of those at all. the nurse kept holding on to my hand and consoling me and they were so frenly i wasnt rly scared! but when the doc took out the needle, he told me that was be the most painful part of the whole surgery, and so i stared at the needle, it was big, and then i told him i was gg to cry! when he heard tt he panicked and was like... ok relax, a prick only. at first the nurse told me was 4 injections, in the end he said I was not numbed enuf, he scared tt i may feel pain afterwards, so he added 4 more became 8 -.-

the injections were done on my inner lips, gums and one very near the throat.

AHAHA! i am gonna slap those who told me that injections are painful and unbearable. they were no pain at all!!!! cos the dental surgeon handsome ma, so i kept staring at him till i forgot. hahahaha

then the first thing was to wait for the anesthesia to numb the area. And he kept cfming with the nurse my ic and which teeth to take out. they scared they make another mistake haha.

waited and waited, nurse asked me question and then i answered and then...

surgery lights on! then they covered my eyes, i told them i want to see but they say the lights were too bright and so no choice bt cover my eyes. im not scared of the drills i ma gonna see ltr, bt if they covered my eyes, i cannot see the surgeon!!!!!!

then he stood on my right, cos my eyes were covered, he tapped my shoulder like im his friend like tt, and told me he would be standing on my right side.

so sweet!

haha, though my eyes were covered, i kept looking at the right, i see nth bt shadow of him -.-

then it started.

he took out a plier to pluck out my pre molar, he didnt shake the tooth, he just pulled and everything came out. whoo! one tooth done!

the other tooth was more diff. my left pre molar was embedded inside my gums so have to cut my gums and drill the bone! sounds scary? but no i love it!

i can assure you will feel nth but pressure.

cos the tooth damn hard to take out, i can hear him breathing very restlessly haha handsome leh.

I knew he was cutting my gums open, and then he kept digging my tooth, then he knock and then use drill, my head vibrated.

And then it came out lor, during this, i kept holding on to the nurse hands! the doc saw when he finished the surgery, he said can let go liao, cos he stitching nw. everything done!

then i see a bit of him stitching me like sewing clothes lor. haha i feel nth!

hahahahaha everything done in 30 mins!

bt a lot of bleeding lor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha they kept praising me for being so gd in the OT. cos normally ppl would freak out and scream, im proud of myself i didnt do any of that! im born to be a anesthesiologist! Im no scared of needles!

then they brought me to a chair and i rested and then he came to see me! haha and then erm, he said everything is ok and i was discharged!

done!

like srsly nth to do and i am now living off ppl's money to tide me over this tough and boring period. I srsly keep travelling up to ndc so many times till i scared alrdy.

A person's upbringing is very important. it shows others how you are brought up by your parents, and also indirectly means what kind of a person your parents are.

For me, i am proud to say my parents are friendly people, and therefore i can go crazy with my friends, and if you come up to know me better, I can say without shame that i am a ridiculously fun and amazing person.

But some ppl, their parents are loners. their children are loners too, with bad temper and very stingy. they dun welcome guests into their houses, even if they do, they dun even offer you a drink or food. They just eat by themselves, and sometimes even complain about the guests being too noisy. so impolite! So what if your parents are from a top university in spore? no manners, perhaps their parent's mothers never teach them to

And, upbringing also tells how many relationships you can have.

like for example, a person who is stingy, will probably not have any gf in their lives. Because girls are materialistic, this goes out to every girl. and so, if your MOTHER teach you to be very stingy, you will also be stingy, and will gu du zhong lao. (means forever alone, alone forever...)

But, if your mother, teach you to spend on the correct things, that means ur mother is a great person, and knows how to teach the child to be a great person. This child would probably have many great relationships in life!!! isnt that wonderful???

If you want to go after a girl, you need to be caring. just my 2 cents...

good upbringing can make you into a good person that everyone look up to, but bad upbringing can also bring you down to hell with ppl(ghosts) looking down on you. i mean, u cant choose your upbringing, bcos u cannot choose ur parents. But you can CHOOSE what kind of person you want to be, and not always listen to your parents.

Especially for those who wants to be, or already became a mama's boy, that means your upbringing is DEFINITELY AND CONFIRMED not good.

Those who are daddy's girl, have good upbringing!!! you may ask me, why mama's boy is not gd, but daddy's girl is good, becos that means the girl is very pure, and willing to listen to the father, and so would not get cheated. But for mama's boy, they are not like girls, can be taken advantage off, boys do not have to worry about that. But yet, they are a big man, a big man makes own decisions, dun have to listen to MAMA. Those guys simply have no goals in life, cannot big decisions by themselves, and mum is the god.

Becos i found something that is more important, That is our future.

All i can say is that pls open ur eyes to the widest when u vote, what kind of future do u want when u stay in spore? do you know why there are countless spore immigrants in other countries? tts bcos the living standards in spore is too high.

do you know why there is aging pop in spore? bcos the standard is so high, no one wants to give birth so early so they can work more and earn more. and so of them study till a very old age with no children.

and now healthcare. with many ppl giving birth at old age, healthcare plays an impt part, its so ex, ppl are neglecting their illness due to high cost.

Hi guys, some great news to share with you guys! I have pasted my results for this semester! All As! to verify that those are my results, i included my student ID and my name!

For neurobio i have 2Bs and 1X but all not counted becos of one LOA and 13/15 grades.

For AI, there is a LOA and one B, and i guess these two are not counted. So means i gt full marks!

My best grandmother just passed away. We were at sicu on saturday @NUH. I saw her lying in the hospital and the surgeon pronounced her as brain dead.

I have been looking forward to this CNY but i doubt this year we would be able to go down. I blame myself for studying too much, as i dun have the time to visit her often.

The last time i saw her was the time she brought my niece and nephew to our house, she still asked me about my TB condition.

She is the grandma, who always asked me to work hard and be a good girl.

I wanted to invite her for my graduation this May, to let her see her grand daughter can make her so proud. But she didnt even had a chance to live beyond this CNY.

Be rest assured grandma, that i will continue to study hard, and graduate with flying colours and make u proud as you watch over me in heaven. I know you can see me graduate from where you are now, and always be happy wherever u go.

The sacrifices that you have made for all your children made you truely a heroine, and that you will rest in peace.

You will always live in our hearts, and we will miss you dearly. I know you are surrounded by angels now.

This is sweet, just so sweet that i want to share with you guys.

My friend just got herself a boyfren and he is really sweet.

I can tell you, she is one lucky girl. Very lucky. The guy is handsome, and he drives a sports car and is extremely sweet to her.

She like called me a few days ago and we had a girls talk, she told me her bf would drive to her house every morning to fetch her to school, well her bf is currently studying law and she is a poly student. Her bf treats her to everything, and holds handbag for her, cook for her when she fell sick and watch horror movies with her ( this is how i get to know her, cos we love gore.)

And ytd, she went out and then sms me that she went out with her bf to have a sweet date while laughing at me studying my heart out for ut. You can nv guess how sweet the bf is.

He was like shopping with her, then she saw something she likes, and he immediately went in to get one for her. Its a ring, and a very expensive one. She was boasting to me all day!

He quitted smoking for her and promised to bring her to europe next next month after chinese new year. He is one rich guy.

And i was complaining how slow my com was, and she boasted to me again saying that she already watch human centipede ytd with her bf in school.

urghhh! and guess wat. this fren of mine, she is sweet looking, and so many girls hate her for her sweet looks, appearently she was hated in cls becos of that. She is not in RP.

Bt the bf always make the effort to fetch her by waiting outside the clsrm for her, making others jealous.

I came across this heart breaking news.

Darren (19) was killed at downtwon east due to a staring incident.

From liu hong mei to huang na's murder case, none of them were was heart breaking as Darren's. Maybe bcos he is a RP student, so i feel a sense of belonging to this case of murder.

I grieved so much for this case. i don't know why. Maybe because he has a bright future ahead of him, and he hasn't had a chance to prove to his father his abilities, and that his sister was waiting outside the ICU and said she missed him deeply. And he isn't too ugly.

Everyone should know this case by now, and so i shan't elaborate further.

What is happening to s'pore society? why are so many ppl's precious and delicate lives taken away just by a staring incident? or pride? is that reallly important?

newspapers have been reporting this case, and each newspaper reports a different thing. who should i believe?

No matter wat happens, a life should not be taken even if he owns u a big debt. Our lives are given by god, all of us have held hands with god, and then let him bring us to this world. He is the one to grant us death, not by random ppl.

What can we do to repay him and our loved ones? it is to live happily and meaningfully.

All of us are unique and have a hidden talent, i am sure Darren is although he is being kicked out of school. But he didn't had a chance to prove to his father of his abilities...

What is this? we are Living in this world becos we have a dream to fulfill, but if we die without fulfilling this dream, wouldn't u feel resented?

He didn't even have a chance to fulfill his dreams. Have you read the newspaper on how his dad grieved for him? His dad was crying: "return my son"...

I cried.

I feel so sry for him.

The tribute video made me teared even more. he was a good son, good friend and a good brother.

But nevertheless, heavens are born with eyes too. The 4 murderers with their victory signs are now in jail.

Hi everyone, it had been so long ever since i updated this little blog of mine.

Had been busy lately, with fyp and school.

Just received my results, and aint satisfied.

Although GPA increased quite a lot, and got a few As, but still not satisfied.

Proteomics, anatomy and physiology, genomics and lab management. Two As, all B+.
Wanted all As, but didnt.

Guess u can count my GPA right? Bad isnt it?

Bt nvm, i guess i can do it for the nx sem.

Been so tired and debilitated, very very tired and lethargic.

I rly dun feel like studying anymore...

Have i mentioned i really hate studying?

Hey peeps, Im back!

Im back with good news!

I am awarded the PCF study awards 2010!

Last year, the award presentation was at Botanic Gardens, this year would be at National museum of Singapore! Why? I have gathered my soldiers to cheer me on this sunday!

FYI, this award is given to students with good academic results, attendence, excellent CCA and non disciplinary records.

I am happy to have fulfilled all these criteria!

The school actually sent me an email to go for an interview, and the 3 interviewers asked me lots of questions about school, cca and others.

I am so HAPPY to have been shortlisted by the school and PCF foundation to receive this award. Not more than 10 students from each polytechnic can receive this award. For a total of 5 polys in singapore, only 50 students can get it. Formidable right?

And just a few weeks back, i received a call from PCF to show up at Bishan east CC to receive my invitation letter from Mr Wong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs. He asked me a few questions, and then I was presented this invitation card. Because on that day, it was meet the ppl session, so there were quite a no of ppl there. There were photographers, abt 10 of them? no lesser, couldnt rmb, was taking photos like crazy and i felt like a celebrity back then! So many ppl was watching... XD

anw, so so so happy to have received that invitation from him, and will proceed to recieve the award and certificate from prime minister Mr Lee hsien loong this sun.

Everyone knows that I am an avid korean chaser. Koreans are known to be flawless for their skin and distinct features. I hate losing, I simply hate it. And because GOD knows that, I am born ugly.

I always browse throught the pictures of Ulzzangs and the more i flip, the more i am sadded.

Why are some people have diligently featured looks, so have cute looks and other have baddie looks and the one i hate most, is skinny and nerdy looks.

Despite the baddies look, they still look good.

Why am i born like this? I srsly hate my looks, and have u noticed lately that i dun dress elegantly or "nice" to school. Well, i simply found a need to stop all this, because when u look bad, u do not need excessive amount of makeup to make u look good. Ur simply ugly.

Well, srsly i once thought of cancelling my braces appt bcos i dun think i need it. I dun think it can enhance my looks anw.

This explains why i am single all these lonesome years.

I hate smiling and i dun know why.

OMG! The SP guy really worked!

The lab management results are out and it didn't came out as expected! It was better!!!!!!

Gave another CE talk to the Yr 2 and Yr 3 Biotech students. Normally facilitators give talk, now its my turn to share my story. Whow, about 100 ppl, but when i shared my story with the Yr 1s, its only abt 70 much?
Studied really hard like a rock in the hols? Spent my time in the lib wanted to read up on Anatomy and Physiology, but in the end ended up in the music section.
Finish up my logbook and report for FYP.
Oh, and the usual thing, dream of my future. :)

Everyone can do it, rmb? Dreams are meant to come true, and i did it. :)

I will continue to read successful stories to motivate myself and become one of them one day.

This is one inspirational story that motivated me to score full marks for my A and P UT this coming tuesday.

Ngee Ann poly showed two capable students who made it into yong loo lin sch of med.

This yr, Sp produced another competent student who managed to secure a place in nus sch of med.

He stated he wants to work in the emergency department, because he prefers frontline work. Same as me.

Very soon, u'll see me as RP's first med student. If they can do it, why can't i, or why cant us? "Believe in yourself, and you will achieve ur goal. This is something i truely behold.

I have always wanted to be a scientist when i was as young as pri 3, i was inspired by my very first sci textbks that brought me to the amazing world of science. Reading encyclopedias became my hobby and u'll find me in the science dept in the lib.

I rmb when i was pri 6 SARS striked and it killed many doctors, and there was a show acted by fann wong and ping hui called 无焱的爱. She almost sacrificed herself because of the SARS virus. I knew that ttsh was the hospital n that became the one stop centre for those patients. That had always been my dream hospital.

i've decided to take chem and bio for my sec subjects.

teachers always teased and called me doctor Ng.

I also didnt stop my ambitions from growing even wilder, i've decided to take on biotech in poly.

A few trips to the A and E dept earlier this yr pushed me even more, because the doctors there were good! hehe~ i want to be one of them!

First S'pore Poly grad to get into NUS med school

THE path less travelled has led him to medical school.

Desmond Thiam, 20, is the first Singapore Polytechnic (SP) graduate to be admitted into the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

He is among a rare few who have taken this route. In 2007, The New Paper reported that two Ngee Ann Polytechnic graduates were the first poly graduates to make it to medical school.

Desmond obtained a diploma in biomedical science earlier this month.

He said that his ambition to be a doctor stemmed from watching his grandmother struggle to bring him up while she was saddled with many health problems.

He is the only child in a single-parent family.

His parents separated when he was in primary school.

His mother, who works in IT, was the sole breadwinner, leaving his grandmother to take care of him since he was two.

Sacrifices

He said: "For the past 18 years, my grandmother's sacrifices and endeavours were a source of motivation and strength for me to strive on in the face of continuous hurdles.

"Watching her suffer from multiple health problems, including depression and arthritis, helped me empathise with the elderly and made me want to do more for them."

Desmond's compassion for the elderly extended to school activities.

He was the organising chairman of "Health Mapping Exercise", an ongoing community service project that the polytechnic organised with the Singapore Heart Foundation.

Between 2007 and early this year, he went from door to door at HDB blocks with one- and two-room flats all over Singapore, screening residents' heart rate, and blood glucose and cholesterol levels to check for health problems.

He found that many of the elderly residents suffered from very high blood pressure.

He termed them "walking time bombs" because their condition was so severe they could suffer heart attacks or strokes any time.

He said: "Many of these patients reminded me of my grandmother and what it was like for her. They were a group of neglected people.

Several residents were aware of their condition, but they had no money to pay for medicine.

"We gathered data and presented it to the grassroots leader, who referred them to the relevant organisations to follow up."

Desmond graduated with an L1R5 score of 5 from Commonwealth Secondary School, which would have qualified him easily for the science stream of top junior colleges here.

But he chose to study biomedical science at SPas he wanted to focus on his area of interest.

His mother supported his decision because she felt that such a course would be more practical, given his interests.

Desmond thinks his honesty and compassion were probably the qualities that impressed his interviewers at NUS.

Tough interviews

He was one of three students shortlisted by the poly to go for interviews at NUS's medical faculty.

He said that the interviews were tough as he was asked technical questions that he could not answer.

He said: "I told them honestly that I did not know the answers to the technical questions.

"They also asked me many other questions... on topics like euthanasia and why I wanted to be a doctor. I think the important part was how I took a stand on the issues."

He hopes to become a doctor in an emergency department as he prefers frontline work.

He said: "My experiences have taught me that warmth, compassion and understanding are crucial aspects of being a doctor, more so than the surgeon's knife or chemist's drug."

Madam Mah Mon Moey, the course manager of the diploma of biomedical science at SP and one of Desmond's lecturers, said that he was a highly motivated student.

She said: "He is a team player and an inspirational leader, who has impressed his lecturers with his ability to juggle numerous co-curricular activities while maintaining an excellent academic performance."

Desmond's grandmother died in February this year and didn't live to see his achievement.

She was 70.

He said of the two women who brought him up: "Without them, I would not be who I am today."

Me: I will do it after my wisdom tooth op. i cannot go for it now bcos i am taking drugs. I will have to wait for 6 mths.

Friend: Why u everytime dun wanna go out?
Me: I am busy with sch work. When i am free, i will go out. Book me 1 wk in advance.

Friend: What kind of personality do u have?
Me: i duno. I have split personality.

Friend: Why u everytime so obsessed with sch work?
Me: i want to get into a gd uni and get a gd job so i can give my parents a better life. And i mean it.

once upon a time

Once upon a time, there was this girl who was born, and stayed in the hospital for 2 wks while other healthy ones for only a few days. doc suspected was heart defect.

she grown up, but diahhrea happened and was sent into the hospital.

she went to the optician and wanted a pair of contact lens. She found her degree and colour, and was excited to wear it to school. She was only sec 3 then.

She was told by the optician that if her eyes was too dry, she can go for eye drops. Only 1% of the population will have this problem and so, cannot wear contact for their whole life. Unfortunately, her eyes were really dry and she yawned all the time, and brought eyedrops. However, she tried all methods but they did not work out at all.

She realised she was the 1% population.

The girl then grew up and took her O levels chinese. She was too stressed and coughed her way to the end of the the exam. She didnt get a good grade( at least to her) and retook her chinese. The same results returned at the end of the yr, she broke down and cried. She scored a freaking 16 ptns, and chinese and science both with A2.

She was too stressed with fever on and off, finally fainted and was sent into TTSH's A and E. Blood was taken, and urine. She was told to have pueumonia, an infection of the lungs. Do u know what was the results? too stressed and cause fever. that fever lasted 3 wks.

She was told to write 12 choices for polytechnic, and then she didnt get into any of her choice. How stupid was her to choose a JC for her first choice, and was offered an art course. She was a science freak, of course she didnt want that. And so, all her choices went down the drain.

She was given a course in RP's environmental science. She hated it, and appealed for biomedical, because being a surgeon is what she really wants. She imagines herself wearing labcoat, and gg ard to cure illnesses.

Of course, she didnt get course and she cried for one whole wk. And then, she went down multiple times to appeal for what she wants. She was given biotechnology. she didnt want that, however better than DENV.

She went on to sch, her first cls full of politics, third cls was like shit.

The other classes were only ok, she was nv part of the clique of the cls.

now that she reached yr three, she shld have a lot of frens, nobody rmb her bdae. She celebrated alone, and forgot abt it. No wonder none of her wishes came true.

she rly liked her cls for sem 2, however, she was in contact with someone with TB. She gt herself screened, poked two needles, endured the pain and finally diagnosed with it. Her hands puffed and swelled like crazy, and have to eat med for 6 mths.

will this med affect her?
she needs a wisdom tooth surgery under GA, she has scoliosis, she has heart palps, IBS and have swollen lymph nodes.

doc say was fine. she made fren with the pregnant nurse there and told her that she was infected before, and gave birth to three children alrdy, yet nth happened.

she went on to take med.

she remembered her experience, when she went down to ttsh's A AND E AGAIN, to examine her heart. the first time she went to polyclinic for pimple cream, then then was referred to take an ECG.

first ECG was fine, then refered to cardio dept of ttsh. have to wait very long, which is after her op. the reason she went for ECG becos she is scared she will nv wake up from her GA surgery.
second ECG was abnormal, and so took blood tests. everything came back fine.

She tot it was over.

first day of med, suffered side effects and endured for a day. Finally the next day went to her trusted family doc, and was told that it was the side effects. she was told only 10% of the population will have side effects. all her frens didnt get, she realised she was the 10%.

she went on and took the med prescribed by her fam doc, still painful. she took a cab to ttsh A AND E and was pushed in with a wheelchair. then transferred to the bed and then to a quarantine room becos she has LATENT TB.

the doctor came and she explained everything, and then wanted to a put a finger into her ass and see whether she have blood in her stool. she refused and doc said was okay. he then wanted to put her on a drip, and blood test. what? would she have to be poked two times? no, tech is so advance, she was poked only one time.

she said she was scared of injections, and doc consoled her by asking her what course she is taking and wat she wanted to be in the future. she embarrassed herself by saying she wanted to become a doc, and when she blurted it out, the injection was done.

a plastic tube was inserted into her right hand, and when the drip started, it was cold and a bit painful.

she stayed in the hospital from 2pm to 9pm in the night.

then, another freak doctor that was rly bad, said that her side effects was not caused by the med, as blood, x ray and urine was fine. actually suspected kidney stones.

it could be due to ovarian cyst, like her cousin. However, it is normal.

she was given apptm to see the gynae at the end of the mth, and she is returning to TB centre and cfm her side effects to the med.

Sha fell in love with the the first doc ytd. wait, it is not that kinda love, its her love for doctors as they can save ppl, help them outta their misery. She hopes she can become one too.

she has to go back for physiotherapy, dec go back to geriatic doc to take xray to see whether her back has deteriorated, go to gynae to check her ovary, TB centre to check up, dental for braces and many more she couldnt even remember.

her frens tot she was crazy to screen for cholesterol and glucose, becos they didnt know what happened to her(hospital experiences from birth till now).

she alrdy have so many health concerns, will she survive the ordeal?

well, i finally realised what all these means.

I was pondering over the question on how many friends I have. After countless thoughts, i guess i have over 500 friends, including those "say- hello- but- not- close- friends".

you must be wondering, wow Regina has so many friends. isnt her life wonderful?

Nope, this doesnt make me better than any people with only 10 friends.

I rather have ten best buds than have 500 over normal buds.

I tested the loyalty of my friends(best buds) by asking them this question. "My fyp needs to get people to donate blood after they have eaten the provided supplements."

Only Angeline said okay, however she was scared of pain. Even though she is scared of pain, she agreed to take part in this. I not as pretty and sweet and cute like her, of course no one would agree on this.

And next, i went for the test ytd. When i arrived at the sch lab and did my fyp, and found out that it was so swollen, only magdalena asked about it, consoled me and asked me to relax, its only a small matter. And whats more, she said she'll pray for me.

And i received sms from Ys saying that it will be okay.

And no one every noticed that i am so "under the moon", only yingyi cared to asked about it.

And take note, these friends are those that know me not more than 5 yrs. Some only a few mths.

My family, kept asking me whether latent ** will be contagious, and also, some of my scardy frens. how many times must i fucking tell u, go do ur research and u will know the fucking fact.

i am alrdy feeling down, yet they bombard me with those asinine questions. No one realise i am gg to be dead.

And so, this is something that i've realised after so many yrs. I realised i only have 4 friends in my life. Others? dun wanna talk abt it.

Everyone treats me like an alien now.

family will always be there to help? my foot.

From young till now, i have always been in and out of healthcare "sectors", it seems like every new disease will strike me anytime.

Pee? they can't even be bothered to pee, they'll run away.

wow. i am so happy today! u know why? well, i'll tell u why!

ytd, i was supposed to go lunch with sica and mag, but mag is didnt go sch, so i planned my lunch with sica. but she went to cwp with her frens instead, at the last minute!

ytd, after the lunch with sica is gone, i went to ask yingyi. oh yes, she said i can join her. And so wanted to meet at w4! But in the end, they ate without me bcos their lecture starts at 1, while i end cls at 1230!

So, i went down w6 and dabao. so many ppl at the rice store, and queued up for more than 15 mins!

and my happiness does not end here!

i was down with fever ytd, and ate panadol, slept from 730 to 1030. woke up and surfed the net. And slept. supposed to do some revision, but ended up sleeping! My immune system sucks!

today in the morning, was ka ni na bei chao zi bye! i tapped my card on the bus when i entered and exited. But when i got into the MRT, i can't tap my card! and so, i went to the machine to top up the card! after i topped up, i realised i bougght concession just last mth. there goes my $10!

i am so happy!

and still after toping up, still cant get in! i went a big big round to the control station and they said i didnt tap my card when i exited the bus! wow! the bus hate my card!

And when i reached woodlands interchange today, i lined up in a wrong queue for bus 902~ wow what a nice thing that happened!

Well, U might have heard that the 7 princesses of mediacorp is shattered. Yes, the pretty faces( or shld i call it fake faces) are going to disappear.

FYI, if you do not know who are the 7, please refer to the picture below.

Well, what happened?

First to leave was fiona xie. How shld I call it? She was so stupid to reject such a good role offered to her in "together", it was given to Evelyn kok instead. She said she was going off to Hong Kong and be a photographer, and going to earn twice the amount she used to have in mediacorp. FYI, her annual salary was $500,000. Well, others rumoured she had gone off to be a kept woman, waiting for her BF to provide for her.

Second to leave is Dawn Yeoh.

She left her studies to pursue acting when she was 19, and was introduced to mediacorp by her Japanese manager. She had not renewed her contract with mediacorp after five years. She is said to go off to focus on her family.

Well, how stupid is that. She is leaving mediacorp but her contract with her japanese manager has not ended? Then what is the use of the manager? Licking her boots? Anyway, maybe he can prepare her an album that Dawn always wanted...

Last? or shld i call it third to leave? Jesseca Liu.

The 31 year old had decided not to renew her contract with mediacorp, to pursue her love life and her business in langkawi.

The remaining 4 princesses namely Felicia Chin, Joanne Peh, Jeanette Aw and Rui En.

Done some reading ever since hols started, and this is one good book that i have read.

For those who have known me for a long time, they would know i am a history freak. i always loved humanities as a subject because it is not like a typical one like maths and science. (contradicting bcos i am taking up a science diploma)

It requires lots of reading up with no formulas, and no concept. We just have to memorise, which i am good at.

Reading is always part of me, yet performing arts is another one. I always believed in this philosophy, that human beings should always upgrade themselves in areas they are interested in, and until they age and die. We only live once, (well i'm not sure on reincarnation, but for now lets assume that it does not exist.) and so, we can use our free time to do something useful, rather than clubbing and going out. ( i like shopping, but once in a while is sufficient.)

Many ask me what i do during my free time?

Reading up on literature, history of spore, germany and japan, geography( is 2012 rly the end, and the 7 wonders of the earth), how to upgrade myself, choreography(part of my exercise regime), browse kpop websites to update myself on them, and sleep to rejuvenate. I love to go to utube, to update on fashion and nails and hair and skin. Fyp and laugh!!! Meet up old frens, but they never seem to want to go out with me. esp my best mushroom fren. haiz. she dun know how much i miss her. -.- sad thing.

thats how i am. simple. u may think i am boring, but this is who i am.

Today, I am gonna teach you how to: Kill ants with different sadist methods.

I am sure everybody would have this problem at home; ants crawling up tp your food and feast on it.

Crawling all over you and makes u mad.

Swim in ur drinking water.

Bite you.

Mate in your house and you get a lot of baby ants.

Camp in toothbrush(we use it to brush teeth, why isn't it called teethbrush?) and when u brush teeth, u will know how ants taste.

Bring a cockroach back to your hse and feast, while u and your family members feast on seafood.

But fortunately, Ulzzang Ng is here to teach u methods( some may be sadist) to slaughter ants!

The methods below will involve murdering, slaughtering, executing, destroying, exterminating, eradicating, put down, put to sleep, assassinating, massacre, dispatching and eliminating ants.

First up.
Pipe tobacco method
1 (See health warning below!)
2 Purchase pipe tobacco from your local store.
3 Soak it in warm water overnight.
4 Use gloves. See warnings below.
5 Decant the liquid and throw away the soggy tobacco.
6 Pour the liquid over the anthill - they overdose on nicotine and die.
7 Follow the trail of ants to determine where they come into the house.
8 Locate the holes, fill the holes with soap or white glue.
9 Apply baby powder on the trail of ants. Ants that come in contact with the powder will die soon.
10 Apply more baby powder or red pepper to kill the remaining ants. After they are dead, sweep away the ants and excess powder or red pepper.
11 If ants enter the house from the windows, use chalk around the window frame. You will be amazed to see how they move away from any chalk lines!
12 You can also mop the floor with about half liter of water mixed with two to three drops of lavender essential oil. That will keep ants away, too.

Second.
Soap water method
1 Fill a spray bottle with highly concentrated soap water. When you see ants, just spray them and they'll be dead on contact. Wipe up the carcasses with whatever they were trying to eat. Within an hour, any stragglers will have dissipated.

Third.
Ant fight method
1 Collect a large number of ants from one ant hill (easy to do just leave some food in a container, return after 2 hours and you should have heaps.
2 Drop all the ants in the container onto another ant hill and the ants will start fighting each other resulting in many casualties.
3 Takes time but well worth watching them fight.

Fourth.
Dish soap method
1 Spray 3 parts dish soap and 1 part water on them and they will die instantly.

Fifth.
Sticky Tape method
1 Tear out a bit of sticky tape.
2 When you see an ant, place the sticky tape over it and use your fingers or any thing to smash it under the sticky tape.
3 The ant's carcass will be stuck on the sticky tape, so it will be clean.
4 Continue repeating the steps, until the sticky tape is full of dead ants, and then throw it away.

Sixth.
Finger Method
1 Place finger over ant.
2 Push finger firmly on ant.
3 Twist and roll finger so the carcass will stick to said finger.
4 Repeat if necessary.
5 Wash Hands as ants are dirty.

Seventh

Hot Water Method
Now this thing works like a charm. Simply boil water for about 5 to 7 minutes. Once the water is boiled... simply take the hot water and pour it on the ants. After contact, the ants will die instantly.

Now, this is the one i like the most.

Magifying Glass Method
1 You will need a Magifying glass, any kind will do.
2 Will need the sun to be out.
3 Place Magifying glass at an angle between sun and ant.
4 Aim the spot of light created by magnifier to be on top of the ant.
5 Watch the ant fry in seconds, repeat for hours of fun.

Fun? Excited? Thrilled? Try this out at home!

However, pls take a look below.

The best way to keep ants out is to keep your home clean. Wipe counter tops often and don't leave crumbs.

Try a natural repellent such as ground or powdered chili, or used coffee grounds. Citrus peel (ground) works well, too. They hate the smell of vinegar; make a solution with water to spray around.

For a more permanent solution, find the ant mound, and destroy it using boiling water (to collapse tunnels) mixed with a teaspoon of salt (to confuse their sense of direction).

If you can't bear to kill them, at the start of summer leave a jar of honey up a tree in the garden. The ants will be happy to stay out of your kitchen.

Feed them corn meal. They eat it. They take it back to their nest and feast on it. They can't digest it and it kills them. Also, corn meal won't harm children or pets.

Wheat flour and dried rice (any kind) also work. Like corn meal, it expands in their stomach and explodes them, resulting in a death slightly less nasty than being boiled alive.

They also hate cinnamon but will eventually get used to it.

You can destroy their nests by taking a stake and stabbing it down into their nest. Wiggle it around until you have a fair sized crater. Fill the crater with baking soda about half way up and pour vinegar over it. It is all-natural and will totally destroy the nest. Don't worry about it leaving a crater in the ground, it mostly fills itself in and if it doesn't just kick some dirt over it, plant some grass over it, and you will never be able to tell the difference.

Warnings...

Some of these methods may be illegal in some countries. Check local regulations before trying.
The ants will come back in time; be prepared to do this again.

Nicotine is highly toxic; it can be absorbed through the skin and into the blood stream. In its highly purified and concentrated form it may even be fatal - make sure you use rubber gloves. Women who are pregnant and come into contact with highly concentrated nicotine put the fetus at risk as well.

Can somebody answer me why the above diagram is a X linked recessive mode?

It is because the grandparents, one of them is with the disease, therefore the genotype of the grandfather is homozygous, that means XaY. Then for the grandmother, she is not diseased, therefore her genotype is XAXa or XAXA, which makes her heterozygous?

Then for the F1 generation, all are not affected... because x linked recessive would only show in the phenotype if there are two homozygous genotype?

They have 2 daughters, and they both inherited a X from mum and another X from dad. However dad is diseased, the daughters would not show the phenotype because it would only be shown if the genotypes are homozygous.

For the F2 generation, one boy is infected with the disease. That means that his genotype is XaY. Taking the normal outsider rule, the guy who marry the diseased girl is homozygous, which means that he is normal. XAY is his genotype?

That determines his mum's genotype. His father would not have passed the disease to him, unless it is Y linked because only guys have an Y. Since the father is perfectly normal, than the mum must be the carrier for the disease, and therefore pass one Xa to the son, and the son showed it in his phenotype.

Guys can nv be carriers for X linked disease???

I was out with my mum and sis today for dinner.

We talked about ideal guys and my first reaction was T.O.P.

I have just watched final destination 4 in 3D. The whole movie was cool; death was even closer to us in 3D, as stated in the trailer. When the person on death list dies, the blood splashes out on our faces and... cool! what can i say? livers, brains, heart and whatever organs u can name.... all splashed the fuck out into our faces. And when the metal scrap flew out from the racing car, it seems like it is killing us and flying towards us. it was sort of.... i was in that movie! there was a scene whereby a woman is also watching 3D in the threatre, and the movie screened about an explosion scene, and all those things that could kill you just flew out and right in the cinema, the woman died instantly. whow..... i am sitting in the cinema watching a character in a cinema. can u imagine how real the whole thing was and that i was about to die? all because of 3D! the blood were so real, and i felt that i am literally in the movie! one thing is that i do not need to escape the death's list! but anyways, the deaths in this sequel was not as disgusting as the previous ones. a bit disappointing i admit. :( i was expecting to see much more gory scenes....

well, in the premonition by bobby campo, she went out of the stadium and hit by a flying tire. this is the nice picture taken seconds after her death. but because bobby could see this disaster coming, he evacuated some of the people and they escaped death. this girl above oso escaped, but! this is the not end. she ended up like this:

death in a car washing station, due to some mother fucked up pigeons poo- ed on her car. pigeons are signs of bad luck, isnt it?

well, when her head is going to be decapitated, bobby came to save her and she escaped. again.

if you were to ask me to rank the best deaths, i would say it was all in FD3. there was a woman with her head stapled. cool! u shld really see that, the wood stapler( i shall call it) stapled her head like nobody's business. just like how we staple our papers.

and the second ranked would be the FD2, the man cut into three pieces and the all the intestines fell out. down he fell and everybody's face was like... ouchhhh.... whats wrong? i love this kinda movie. it totally rocked everyone in the cinema!

third would be the main character in FD4. in the premonition, she was "reeled" into the escalator! her legs were first, and a whole solid leg turned into liquid blood. she vomitted blood and then when her boyfriend lost the grab, her whole body went into the escalator and whow.... presto! she is gone... forever down the lane! cool i love it! but maybe a magician could get her back.... let me think....

fourth would be FD2 where one boy escaped death, he went near the BBQ and BOOM! THERE GOES HIM AND HIS BODY PARTS. HIS MUM WAS SITTING NEAR THE BBQ, waiting for the dishes. and then u know what was the first delicacy that she had? her son's hand! ( exploded and body parts flying everywhere)! whow, i love it!

fifth shall be adopted from FD2. A man escaped death (the pile up) had a lottery win and bought a gold ring and watch. he returned home and saw leftover spagetti on the sauce pan. he threw them outta the window. he walked to the fridge and took out food to eat. some plastic green toy fell into the food and he puts it in the microwave. and then his ring accidentally dropped into the hole of his sink, and he put his dumbass hand inside to retrieve it. his fucking damn hand got stuck, and the microwave had a small explosion, the food he was cooking on the stove lit up and there goes the fire. "fuck, fuck fuck..."there he goes scolding those ya know.... damn jesus christ and gawd. after a few minutes of struggling, he managed to get his hand outta there. "damnit, i was fucking lucky" he said. he took out the fire extinguisher and put out the fire. half of the fire was put out only, due to the lack of nitrogen in that extinguisher. no choice, he climbed outta his window, and used the LADDER to climb down. shortly after, he heard a big explosion. he escaped! "damnit, i was so fucking lucky"! he exclaimed. wait, it is not the end yet. when he reached the ground, so called safely, he slipped over the spagetti he had previously thrown outta the window. there he fell and hit the small glasses from his window due to the explosion. he fell right under the ladder! and the ladder dropped. no wait, he was lucky again because the ladder dropped close to his face, never hit him. "damnit, i was so fucking lucky"!he said and laughed. count to 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. WHOW. THE LEFT SIDE OF THE LEG OF THE LADDER IMPALED THROUGH HIS RIGHT EYE. BLOOD! WHOW...COOL. I LOVE THIS. he escaped death 4 times in a row!

in FD1, this guy was near to the train track and then the train ran over a metal scrap
(again-.-) and it flew out and decapitated the guy's head into half. whow..... eeiah!!!! cool! XD

and this teacher in FD1, was at home. she was drinking alcohol and it dripped onto her computer. the alcohol went to explore the computer(haha). that mother fucking stupid teacher went near it and it explode! the glass bits flew to her neck, and blood was everywhere~ but not dead yet, the things in her house started to burn one by one and then she fell on the floor due to excessive loss of blood. alex who was the guy with premonitions, predicted and knew that the teacher is going to die, and so went to her house. meanwhile, the teacher was struggling to take the cloth on top of the knife rack to stop her blood. but bcos she was lying on the floor, her hand reached the cloth and yes she managed to get things work her way- she got the cloth, but it came down together with the knives and OUCH! STABBED HER IN HER CHEST. alex came and saw this, he asked the teacher not to move and panic, and so he will save her after he put out the fire. and alex touched something, it caused caused the fire to become bigger, the fire hit something and that something hit the chair, the chair then fell to....... the knife in the teacher's chest! and the knife was stabbed even deeper into her, and she died instantly, with her eyes wide opened! omg, cool.

oh! i saved the best for the last.(actually all the above are classic deaths in final destination sequels!) what would u do if you are in a lift, and you suddenly received a call telling you that the man standing behind you carrying a basket of fake hands with HOOKS would kill you?i'll freak out! even though i love this movie so much.!!!!!

in FD2, kimberly is the one with the premonitions. she knew everything and called the survivors of the pile up to gather at her house so to make sure they can take care of each other and DEATH, would not take them away without anyone knowing. however, there are always some ppl who does not believe this and walked away. this woman, was sad after losing his son to death's plan walked off. she didnt want to stay in the house and so she and another god- damn- it stubborn guy walked off. they went to this elevator with a man carrying a basket of fake hands with hooks. they saw him and hesitated to walk in, how i duno why, they walked in eventually. the door closed. meanwhile, in the house where all the survivors gathered, one man saw a shadow of a man with hooks. he then called the woman in the lift. This was what he said: "hey, the man with hooks is going to kill you!" the woman heard this and dropped her phone. but before that, i have to tell you that the man carrying the hooks is a pervert. he was standing behind the woman and he sniffed her. because of that, the hooks got close to the woman's ponytail, and then it hooked onto it. the woman panicked after she received the call, and so when the elevator doors open, she went out. but she couldnt! because the hooks were stucked on her ponytail! the hooks pulled her back and the just at the very nice timing, the doors closed and her head was stuck in between. the lift was going from the 3rd to the 5th floor. and so with her head stuck, the lift brought her to the fifth floor. you ask me how? how to bring her up to fifth floor with her head stuck in between?well, the best part is here. her head was stucked there and wooo~up she went to the fifth floor! she vomitted a lot of blood and opps! i did not do anything, her head was decapitated! the head fell in the lift which scared the soul out of the two men inside the lift and her headless body fell outside. shiok ah!

this is wat i call the result of stubborness.

Thousands of fans gathered at the airport to bid goodbye to their idol, this shall be the last time they are going to ever see him.

This guy was born and grew up in the states . Only until recently he was chosen to debut as 2pm, he returned to korea. He did not know about the korean culture, and not even used to the korean food.

A guy that grew up in a totally different culture lived in korea, no wonder he says he hate korea- because he was not used to living there. I am a singaporean, if you ever throw me to some other countries, i would hate that place too.

When he reached seattle and saw his mother, he cried. When did he last see his mum? no, he forgot. Because it was so long ago, he had been working hard for his debut and until now he saw some results, that is - 1st on korean music charts song; again and again.

Thinking from another perspective, it is better for him to return to America into his family's arms, because true love comes from there. I am not saying that fans are not giving him enough love, it is just that it is time for him to take a break.

Sorry, i didnt meant to scare you on my comeback on blogger. Attachment is boring, i wonder when did i last joke with people? I think it was the last month. I am holding myself back, for not talking during lunch and experiment time. Attachments are BORING, damn fucking boring. My partner oso boring, got new attachment students from SP oso boring, what can i do? PON? No way, i can't even take a decent leave! I wondering why did i sign up for this earlier? Guys, good things are happening to me recently.

Randomly walking pass J8 to the bus interchange, one woman from the create talents modelling agency asked me to model for their citibank card. Hehe, you may see me appearing in advertisements shortly.

Yesterday i was informed that i was shortlisted for the IEP attachment program at NUS. There are research going on and i would help them in it. It is a virology lab, where i would be dealing with viruses. Sounds dangerous eh? But i would go all out to reserve a place at NUS faculty of Science or Medicine. Two people in the entire poly is shortlisted, and i get to be the lucky one. :)

I have gotten an "A" from the biochem faci again. I may get all straight As for my biochemistry. Shall show u all my results at the end of the semester.

Calculated my GPA recently, i may get 3.4, i can see my goals( entering any local university majoring in science). I know there is some more way to go, but i would try my best.

Going to complete my CE soon. I am near to 40 ptns, which fulfills the requirements. But that's not enough, i am going to get like 50 ptns in order to get into university. i am preparing to go for more ce trips instead of ce talks, cos it is more exciting. shall show u all my picts that i have taken.

PP is done halfway, shld be able to finish by end of this month. I can rest finally!

Revision for UT3 is still in operation, expected to finish by this week. Aiming to score As for Biochem(not gg to let you down, faci wan she(module chair), and microbiology.

and also after all the above mentioned, i am gg for my attachment at NUS this vacation. Wish me luck.

Revision is the key. No matter how much the
facilitator teach us or spoon feed us, we have to
absorb and take out the notes to read through daily.
There is no way we can escape.

Especially this part:

Take the sponge and imitate it. Because it absorbs
water. Understand?! Haha. :D:D:D

Ask the facilitator if there are any doubts. Nobody
can help us except the facilitator and ourselves. We
can help ourselves by revision, and the facilitator
can teach us the concept again. There is no way to
force ourselves to understand it alone.

Be prepared. Tell myself not have to exam frights. I
do have that one. Every time I study very well for
exams, I am still worried because I am just scared
that it might just come out some questions that are
totally unseen by me before. Exams anxiety, urgh!

Make friends with the module. No matter how much I
hate it, I would still want to “befriend” it because…
When I make friends with it, I would know all about it
and so I can understand it. Quoted by: “xiao hai bu
ben 1”!

Pay attention in class. Some of my friends club all
day and one of them can always score very well while
the rest who club with him too scored badly. The one
who did well paid attention in class while the rest
did not. This is therefore important.

Finally this whole thing( the blogger system) is working.

Well, the audition was a flop for me because they only chose a few people for the final round and obviously i didn't get in. The music was blasting loud right into my ear and i cannot hear my own voice. Maybe bcos my CD is not karaoke, so the music covered up my voice.

Anyway, this post serves as a thank you post to TG and Cheryl and Siti for cuming down just to hear me sing, They live quite far and woke up early in the morning because they tot it was 1030 in the morning. The person who organized this was so fucked up. the organisers shld go for another course in intergrated events management AGAIN, i bet the person wasnt listening to the trainer when she taught the class how to ORGANISE THIS WHOLE EVENT BEAUTIFULLY.

anyways, special thanks to my daughter, for sending me so SWEET sms and msn msgs. Oh, mummy loves you here!!!!!!!

We have the capacity to blunder slightly is because we are born with the DNA. It defines our personality, we cannot change it! If we make mistakes, blame it on the DNA!? I remember I have a cousin that is married and is recently divorced. Why? Because he likes to flirt and has many mistresses outside. A normal wife would divorce him. Music therapy can help depressed people, because their emotions are taking over them. Why can music heal? Because different kinds of music triggers different kinds of people. Only creatures which have no feelings would not be triggered by it. When I talk about music, I would have countless thoughts on it, because it is my only companion when I am alone. :) My DNA loves music! I am born with it!

Basically, DNA is everything and it dominates our whole body. It is just like the commander telling the soldiers how to march and be patriotic. We have to listen to it, and go with it. All thanks to this small yet marvelous thing, we are all unique. :)

OH btw, i have things to tell you guys. I will be performing on this sat at j8 at 1030, do cum down and support.

I give thanks to everything i have now. really.

Firstly, i give thanks to the wonderful music that i have. The wonderful music from 2ne1, 4 minutes, after school and many more. music is part of my life, i cannot live without it. Cannot, not in an exception. totally a big "NO" for me. Everyday when i start my day, the very minute i wake up in the morning lying on my bed, i listen to snsd's dear mom and tears to start my day. Next, i play music when i change into my clothes and makeup to get ready for sch. The music would be after school's dream girlz. When i go to the bus stop and anticipate for the bus to come, i listen to 2ne1's fire and pretty boy. Rap and hip hop is the style i am after.

when i reach school, the music would be 4 minutes's hot issue and 2pm's i hate you. standard, everyday i cannot leave these wonderful and breathtaking songs. Do you see me without my ear piece for one day? no unless i spoilt it? no, i would borrow and buy a worst earpiece on my way to hang on for the time being.

yes yes, i give thanks to music. durin free roaming time, music is in for me again. lets all cheer for kpop.

Secondly, i give thanks to my past. without our ancestors, we are what we are today. Without our lessons from the past, we would not remember our roots and would not make me a person that appreciates everything around me. what do i mean?

i went to the changi museum. it was an eye opener for me. i experienced what the people in the past went through in my old textbook, on that day, it all came alive.

tears and more tears. a boy and his grandfather picked up rice that they have accidentally dropped on the floor. they treasure every single grain of rice that they have. nowadays? we throw away left over food and don't regret about it. i have never wasted my food, and i would not want to do it in the future. Women that were dragged away never came back.

we went into the prison and were freaked out 5 minutes inside. it was warm, we can hyperventilate just a few minutes inside. no light when the faci closed the door behind us; a moment of silent closed us in.

"a husband and wife was captured and they were locked up in different cells and he can hear his wife's screams everyday. Yes, no doubt she was raped by the japanese. Total torture."

"no bathing allowed, malnutrition and dehydration and no air and light- bcos the window was rite up there, a small one with some air coming in. Wow, some ppl nv bathed for 3 yrs!"

third, i give thanks to my frens. my third class was a great one. cheryl, siti, tg, jessica. jh, angeline, fz, yy, kylie and others sry that i nv mention your names.

i really had fun in class today, no i mean everyday! they know i am scared of the virus replication process and they purposely made fun of me. they made a ppt for me today? nope, actually i made one for them first, then they took revenge, show u the slides when i get all my things done.

fz they all know my "pattern", i like horror shows and they watched "let the right one in" with me! so accommodating!

give thanks to my parents! they are supportive of me no matter what path i take like singing and biotechnology course and watsoever. they bought formal suit for me for over $100 bucks! lovee!

As Singapore's 44th birthday approaches, plenty of activities have been planned all over the island and in RP to celebrate. Blog about your NDP related experiences, and you stand to win a NDP funpack!

I remember I attended the rehearsal for NDP when I was in primary 5. That was really a good experience because that was my first time going to a NDP parade! I have always been yearning to go for it, and I did! I also remember that I received a fun pack and it contained a lot of things inside. There is a bottle of new water and torch light and snacks. The one item in the bag that left me with great memories is the new water. During that time, we are supposed to drink the new water together as that is the first time we are going to taste it! I was so so fascinated and excited at that time! When Sharon Aw who was the emcee, told us to open that bottle and drink it up, I hesitated for a moment because I knew it was recycled water which was our urine and everything that is passed out from our body! But I would want to experience that “magical moment”! And so I took up the bottle and drank it, weird taste but the feeling was good. Trying out a new thing with my classmates and also the rest of the Singaporeans, made me feel that Singapore was united as one. That feeling was unexplainable. It was simply good.

Not only that, I remembered there is the singing of old Chinese songs from the 60s and that reminded me of the retro fashion trend now! It was good to reminisce the good old times.

With that, I also remembered the pain staking steps that we took to gain independence. From British colony to Japanese and then back again. Merger with Malaya and then independence. The PAP during the times must have worked very hard to give Singaporeans the best living environment. Although failure in the end, but we gained something. Singaporeans are close to one another despite the cultural and race differences. If we have succeeded in merger, we would have been a “Malay dominant” country. That is definitely not fair to the others.
When I was young, I would always stand up for the national anthem when I am at home watching the live telecast! I show respect to my homeland!
There was also one year when my family want to go out during the national day. I begged them to let me stay at home because I want to watch the telecast of the national parade!

I always remember my mum’s year of birth because of the national day; she is older than Singapore by 1 year!
Here I wish Singapore prosperity and a good year ahead! I love living here in Singapore, simply because of our unique style of speaking, actions, and most importantly, we live in harmony since independence! Yeah!

Yes, you must be wondering which girl band in korea would stand in the No.1 place in music bank or rather, korea?

yes, just a news update on korean girl bands.

first, for SM Entertainment, girls generation is coming back with their new song, genie/ tell me your wish. Their second comeback this year sure hit a lot of fans as their previous hit "gee" had been hitting the korean music charts for 9 consecutive weeks. the "gee" fever had left many fans learning the dance steps. Known as super junior's counterpart, they have done their job real well. and what's more, they have changed their "cute" style to "pilot sexy style" which made many korean fanboys anticipating their comeback. Their official "genie" MV was released yesterday and more than thousands have been surfing the net to watch it first hand.

And, sooyoung, hyoyeon cut their hair for the comeback. yoona cut her hair for her new drama and tiffany took off her hair extensions.

second for JYP entertainment, the wondergirls are back with their english version of nobody. known as "disappeared since 2009", there are back with this english version. anyway, they disappeared because they have been "fighting with JYP in america", and so yeah. nothing special because it have not received much news on them.

opps i forgot something. since their nobody, they have also been fighting it out with SNSD's "gee". because of this "nobody" song, they have won several awards at MKMF 2008. and so, jyp ent is awarded the "best entertainment company in korea in 2008."

and also, they made a CF for a handphone. the song is the remake of fin kl's now, which was a hit in the yr 2000.

Yes yes, i 've always wanted to get a boyfriend. But, not just anyone. You may be wondering why i don't have steady boyfriend like everyone else does, but wait, we need to know the reasons for getting a boyfriend at the first place.

can he give you protection? he can give you money? he can love you and not change his affection for you? death would not do you apart?

well most probably at this age, you may have a bit of protection if he is strong, he can give you money if he is rich. BUT, he is not going to so called love you forever like juxiang and yamamoto. this is not the 40s, this is the year 2009 already, and we are halfway through it.

not thinking of his affection for you would never change, death would still do you apart.

so wait, despite all these, why bother get a boyfriend when you can live happily without them?

1st reason: you feel empty and lonely inside and is terrified of letting the others know it.

either you have lost something important,like maybe your family members? or maybe you just don't like and appreciate the things around you. like for example, being not so well off?

2nd reason: cool.

for me, getting a boyfren is because, nobody can talk to me. i cannot nv seem to find anyone that has the same personality as me and we get along so well. only your BF can listen to you. (at least to me)

but it doesn't mean that bcos of this reason, i am gg to get any boys thrown to me.

you must be thinking that "eee, tt gal so ugly, dun bother to choose a BF, you're lucky if they didn't choose you instead." i used to think in this way, but not anymore. i am getting my self esteem up to the highest mountain. my self confidence are boosted ever since i started to go performing at the age of four. self confidence is at 70% this year.

what do i mean? ever since i started performing, my self confidence and esteem gets higher as time goes by. yes, i have found the most impt thing in my life, which is my great passion for singing and dancing.

despite that, i still have a side of me you haven't seen. which is being depressed upon hearing opinions about me from other ppl. bcos of havings these criticism and harsh comments, my self confidence decrese whenever i hear them. and becos it decreases, i found out that the reasons for having a boyfriend keeps getting stronger and stronger by the minute. i can feel the emptiness inside me too.

maybe you all are just stereotyping me for the first impression that i gave you all. just to say, nv judge a bk by its cover; i am a very gd example.

and again, i dun mean that these problems would "motivate me" to find a unsuitable BF.

Hi, i am back again! Back with my ultimate picts with my peers in the lab! I am so thrilled bcos this is the first time that i wore a lab coat and tt makes me a half scientist! yeah, sas may be boring but th lab lessons aren't!

YES I AM BACK!

oh yes! I am back with some awesome photos with my family ytd! yes just ytd i went out with them. I've nv been posting on time lately, but this time yes! i did it!

jiahao sms me the day be4 the movie and asked me to watch blood the vampire which was m18, bcos he wanted to break the m18 curse! he can't wait for that and was so thrilled! i wasn;t sure about the quality and the synopsis of the movie, but the vampire and the blood word made me stereotype the movie as interesting...hmm....

but i think it was more of a action packed movie with fz's explanation.

but no matter wat, it will always be a great pleasure watching movies with my family!!!

It have been so long ever since i blogged. so sorry that i have been very very very x 10000 times very busy nowadays. There's so many things that are awaiting for me to accomplish.

I have my PP report which consist of 2000 words which i am halfway through, studying for UT which i am gg to finish in about a few days time, attending CE talks so that i can complete them by the end of this month( i only have a few more to go), i need to go out and get things that i have longed for, going for trips organised by sch which i have already signed up for, finishing up the present for jh which i can complete by today, borrowing books for my references, (SAS students are damn boring cos they study almost everyday like me, bringing thick books to sch everytime), going out with my family to watch movie, arranging the messy things in my lappie, and many many many more. Oh, i also have to update my forum for crunchyroll as many SNSD's soshified fans are waiting for me to update, and i have to print posters for PP! so many things to do... although i am halfway through for most of them but i never seemed to have finished them?!

I have to edit my photos too, so I can update my blog. The next time I am going to update this lil’ blog of mine would be probably… after UT?
